Job Title: Senior Software Engineer

Job Purpose: The Senior Android Mobile Applications Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering cutting-edge mobile applications for the Android platform. The candidate will take a leadership role in developing and maintaining complex Android applications, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and code reviews to other Android developers. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of developing and deploying Android applications and the ability to work collaboratively with teams.

Qualification: A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field

Experience: 10 years

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of high-quality, user-friendly, and innovative Android applications.  

• Collaborate closely with product owners, UX/UI designers, and other development teams to understand project scope and requirements and translate them into technical solutions.  

• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and code reviews to other Android developers to ensure highquality coding standards.  

• Build and maintain automated testing frameworks for Android applications to ensure high-quality delivery and end-user value.  

• Troubleshoot and debug application issues to ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness.  

• Stay up to date with the latest Android development technologies, trends, and practices, and provide recommendations for development process improvements.  

• Ensure all developed applications are of the highest quality, meet user and business needs and comply with Android guidelines, industry best practices, and coding standards.  

• Participate in code release management and deployment activities.  

Mandatory:

• Knowledge of Java and Kotlin programming languages, Android SDK, and Android Studio  

• Strong understanding of Android architecture patterns such as MVP, MVVM, and MVI  

• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and high-quality code that is easy to understand and work with  

• Experience in leading and mentoring teams of Android developers  

• Certification in Android Development is preferred.  

• Good knowledge of RESTful APIs, third-party APIs, and web services  

• Ability to translate business and user requirements into technical solutions and designs.  

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills  

• Good communication and leadership abilities  

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
