In line with its vision of “Safe & Smooth Transport to All”, RTA is responsible for planning and providing the requirements of transport, roads & traffic in the Emirates of Dubai. Traffic Road Agency is responsible for smooth traffic flow and ensuring that proper passage is available for Pedestrians as well in various areas. The Agency is responsible for ‘Right of Way’ Inspection once the NOC is issues to a contractor. In addition, the Agency is responsible for ensuring that the citizen of Dubai do face minimum challenges in terms of Road Signals, Parking Areas, Foot Paths and other road structures.
They need to ensure that the Contractors and fellow citizens are abiding to the rules. If not, as a process, the Inspectors are supposed to take necessary actions.
Their primary objective behind this implementation was to improve Inspector’s Productivity, manage violation process, and optimize fine collection process for any violation to achieve their vision of providing safe and smooth transport.
