In line with its vision of “Safe & Smooth Transport to All”, RTA is responsible for planning and providing the requirements of transport, roads & traffic in the Emirates of Dubai. Public Transport Agency is responsible for studying the requirement of public transport in various areas. The Agency comprises offices of quality, health, safety and environment (QHSE), as well as office for training and developing drivers, in addition to other departments like Planning and Business Development, Franchising and Enforcement, Buses, Transportation Systems, Maintenance and Services, Marine, Drivers Affairs.
Their primary objective behind this implementation was to improve Inspector’s Productivity, optimize fine collection process for their Bus Network to achieve their vision of providing safe and smooth transport.
