JOB PURPOSE: The Digital Transformation Project Manager is responsible for Digital portfolio within client engagement.
QUALIFICATION: Graduate or Post Graduate in Engineering/Science/Computer application, Commerce etc.
EXPERIENCE: 15+ Years’ experience in IT Services & solutions, out of which 8 years at Management level in managing digital transformation, process automation and application development.
RESPONSIBILITIES (INCLUDES ALL TASKS):
Work with clients in a consultative way; helping them translate their business objectives into digital strategies.
- Develop strong relationships with the key stakeholders.
- Managing client portfolio’s digital and application l projects
- Extensive experience in working with multi-skilled teams (UX Designers, Software Engineers and QA Engineers) on projects that touch a range of technical platforms.
- Implements production, production, productivity, quality and customer service standards
- Ability to empower architecture, engineers and delivery
- Influencing design from research, analytics/AI, platforms & tools and services
- Build business plans and create a technology roadmap
- Responsible for reviewing process and procedures and suggesting changes
- Assess where we are in our digital transformation journey and create strategic roadmap(s) to modernize our client environment
- Provide industry thought leadership, strategic solution planning to provide innovative results
- Ability to make data informed decisions and to problem solve even when there may be missing components
- Meeting with clients, third parties and project managers to report progress.
- Overseeing risk management approach.
- Ensuring project managers supervise and manage their own projects and teams
- Reviews, approves work plan, responsibilities and scope
- Drive steering committee meetings with customer leadership team.
- Ensure adequate and timely staffing for each phase of project.
- Responsible for overall quality and management
- Oversee budget, ensure financial accountability
- Strong Governance capability for multiple projects, including managing P&L.
- Managing onshore and offshore delivery and resources.
- Understanding of solution design, estimation, presentation, and delivery approach in Digital projects
Requirement
- Strong understanding of business transformation, digital, software builds and change delivery
- Strong ability to work with both business and technology stakeholders
- An entrepreneurial drive, with the ability to deconstruct and solve problems, to investigate drivers and figure out why things happen
- Proven ability to build strong relationship across stakeholder groups with the ability to effectively influence and communicate across various business lines and units and at senior levels within the organization.
- Deep understanding of the Digital industry, and the issues and opportunities its players face, in area such as technology, data and business change.
- Consulting services experience or experience of selling in a consultative environment
- Good listening skills, ability to ask questions and probe to uncover issues
- Experience in structuring and developing compelling proposals
- Ability to negotiate and shape a deal including understanding pricing and risk
TECHNICAL SKILLS /COMPETENCIES:
- Knowledge of technologies and methodologies in BPM, UX Design, RPA, Mobility, etc
- Thorough knowledge in various project methodologies including Waterfall & Agile.
- Word, Excel, Power Point etc.
