Manage Network Operations Center (NOC), ensuring the smooth operation of critical IT infrastructure and services.

5+ years of experience in network operations, including at least 2-3 years in a leadership role.

Team Management:

·       Lead and manage a team of NOC engineers.

·       Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide coaching and development.

·       Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Network Monitoring:

·       Implement and maintain network monitoring tools like ManageEngine to proactively identify and resolve issues.

·       Monitor network performance metrics, such as latency, bandwidth utilization, and packet loss.

·       Analyze network logs and alerts to identify potential problems.

Incident Response:

·       Develop and implement incident response procedures.

·       Respond to network incidents promptly and efficiently.

·       Escalate critical incidents to appropriate teams.

·       Coordinate with other teams to resolve incidents quickly.

Problem Management:

·       Identify and resolve root causes of recurring incidents.

·       Implement preventive measures to minimize future incidents.

·       Conduct post-incident reviews to identify lessons learned.

Security Operations:

·       Monitor network security events and threats.

·       Implement security best practices and standards.

·       Respond to security incidents and breaches.

Capacity Planning:

·       Monitor network capacity and identify potential bottlenecks.

·       Plan for future growth and scalability.

Documentation:

·       Maintain up-to-date documentation of network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines.

·       Develop and maintain a knowledge base for the NOC team.

TECHNICAL SKILLS /COMPETENCIES:
MANDATORY OPTIONAL
·       Proficiency in using and managing monitoring tools such as ManageEngine, SolarWinds, or similar platforms.

·       Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware.

·       Experience with network protocols and services (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).

·       Knowledge of network security practices and tools.

·       Familiarity with scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, PowerShell).

·       Experience with incident management and ITIL processes.

·       Understanding cloud services and virtualization technologies.

·       Proficiency in using network analysis tools and techniques.
