Recognizing the exciting growth potential of the region, our client was one of the first international construction businesses to establish offices in the Middle East during the late 1990s.

Based from head offices located in Doha (Qatar), Abu Dhabi and Dubai (United Arab Emirates), the company has built a reputation for fast delivery and high quality through the design and construction of some of the most challenging projects in the region.

Business Scenario

The client was looking to have infrastructure revamp at their primary site. As per discussion with the client’s IT Team and our evaluation we saw that current infrastructure in the organization is old and does not have the capability for future expansion. Secondly infrastructure is based on traditional architecture and hence does not support flexibility in terms of upgrades and expansions.  

The organization’s main objective was to have best in class technologies which shall help them to grow their business.

As of date they have the  best in class primary site with high infrastructure setup which supports latest trends in availability architecture. Their infrastructure is virtualized using VMware vSphere 6.0,   but due to dynamic business nature of the company and aged hardware they wanted to go for infrastructure revamp.

Intertec together with Dell EMC worked on infrastructure design which comprehensively addressed the client’s need for a high performance, high capacity scalable solution.

We had proposed Dell EMC Nutanix hype-converged platform, which basically consists of compute, storage and SAN network. Nutanix architecture is proven Industry Leading HCI platform. It also provide Single Support and Remote Monitoring for All Components – HW and SW.

Web-scale infrastructure brings simplicity back to the datacenter. Every aspect of the IT infrastructure lifecycle, from purchase and deployment to management and scale, is simplified. Service providers and enterprise of all sizes can realize the following benefits:
